This work is made possible through long-standing collaboration with UNICEF, whose global efforts support children’s rights, education, health, and protection in more than 190 countries and territories.
Having witnessed their work firsthand, I have deep respect for the intelligence, compassion, and dedication UNICEF teams bring to some of the most remote and underserved regions of the world. Their impact is both profound and enduring.
My hope is that the same sense of care, joy, and humanity reflected in these images also extends outward — supporting children’s education, while creating spaces of warmth, meaning, and connection.

As I ventured through the uncharted desert landscapes of AlUla, Saudi Arabia in a Jeep taking in the beautiful and rugged paths of the area, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a group of Arabian horses gracefully galloping through the sandy dunes. Their freedom and speed were awe-inspiring, leaving me mesmerized by their effortless beauty.
In that moment, I witnessed an extraordinary connection between the rider and the horse. They moved together in perfect harmony, their bond evident in every stride. No words were needed, for their silent communication spoke volumes. It was a profound reminder of the unspoken language that exists between beings, transcending barriers and bringing us closer together.
Among the untouched wilderness, this encounter symbolized the spirit of freedom, grace, and strength. The Arabian horse, with its untamed nature and elegance, served as a powerful reminder of the boundless possibilities that lie within us all. Located amidst the vibrant city of Vadodara, India, just a short distance from the magnificent Lukshimi Villas Palace, there exists a hidden community brimming with warmth and abundance. In this close-knit community, I had the privilege of meeting a grandfather, standing proud with his beloved grandson, who graciously invited us to experience the profound richness of their lives. Despite having little in material possessions, their boundless joy and love overflowed, touching the lives of all who crossed their path. This lion knows who he is no matter what happens to him. And because of that, I knew too.

It’s undeniable - The Great Sphinx of Giza has a powerful energy.
This photo was captured as I sat in its presence, alone, under a starlit sky. Its rare to be this close to The Great Sphinx, and even more rare to be there in the quiet of the night alone. As I took in the sounds and the howling of the animals that roamed the area, I set up my tripod as close to The Sphinx as I felt comfortable.
The Sphinx is the very embodiment of antiquity and mystery.

During my time producing Yanni’s concerts set in-front of the Great Pyramids of Egypt and the Sphinx, I had the rare opportunity to spend time alone, right beside them, at night, while they were all specially lit under a starlit sky.
This colossal monolith statue, standing at 20.22 m (66.34 ft) tall and 73.5m (241 ft) long, carries an energy and grandeur that words fail to capture. It is one of the oldest statues throughout the world and you can feel the history simply by being in it's presence.
This experience, during the quiet of the night, and the tremendous undeniable energy radiating from the area was awe inspiring. You can't help but feel small and vulnerable when you are surrounded with such quiet energy and grandness.
This artwork is my attempt to share that transformative moment with you. May it be a reminder that in the face of life's challenges, we can find courage and grace to persist. Courage gives us the ability to continue… it is grace under pressure.

Deep inside the desert of AlUla, Saudi Arabia, in the Abu Oud Valley, you can find inscriptions over 4,000-5,000 years old!
Pictured here, are inceptions from 2 eras: Libyan and Nabatean Early Arabic that include ostriches, lions, Arabian leopards, and more.
The Archeologists believe them to go back to the Libyan period from 900 BC to 168 BC.
This region of Saudi Arabia just recently opened to the public and only 1% of the region has been excavated at this time. This is a rare encounter with history. Incredible to see history so close!… and experience the first emoji! 😉

$210 from every print sold will go to purchase a UNICEF School-in-a-Box, which will help at least 40 children continue their education during times of emergency and conflict. Materials for an entire classroom are packed into a large portable aluminum case, including a clock, markers and flip chart, and even an inflatable globe for geography lessons! The inside lid of the box doubles as a blackboard when coated with the special paint included in the kit. This UNICEF Inspired Gift kit also contains resources for teachers - including items for teaching children with disabilities - and allows for double-shifts for classes so that more children can benefit from schooling.
This photograph holds a special place in my heart as it marked the beginning of an incredible journey. From the confines of my modern hotel room, I looked out onto a seemingly desolate landscape below. Little did I know that in that very moment, two children, a brother and sister, would emerge, laughing and giggling with an indescribable abundance of joy, and a fistfull of colorful balloons trailing in their wake. Their pure and unadulterated joy moved me to tears. Some may dismiss it as childish innocence, but I believe there is much wisdom to be gleaned from a child's boundless playfulness and their sense of awe and wonder.
It was this powerful encounter that set me on my current path, a mission to illuminate the universal joy and positivity that can be found across the globe, transcending backgrounds and locations. Above all, it is a heartfelt commitment to give voice to and support the wellbeing of our precious children.
